AMPS Industrial & Safety is a family-owned company located in Guildford, in western Sydney.
We service welding and engineering companies throughout the Sydney region, providing a full range of welding machines and consumables, abrasives and engineering supplies, and safety products.
We are also accredited gas equipment service agents for CIGWELD, and perform quality repairs on regulators, cutting torches and associated equipment.
We pride ourselves on personal and professional service to our customers.

Our Story
AMPS began some 10 years ago as Australian Metal Powders Supplies, the Australian importer and distributor of iron powders and metal spray powders for the Swedish group Hoganas AB.
I In 2002 AMPS Industrial & Safety P/L was established as a separate company to expand into distribution of a range of engineering and safety products.
In 2003 AMPS Industrial & Safety combined with a specialist welding supply company called Contract Welding Supplies, providing us with distributorship of brands such as Lincoln, Kemppi, W.I.A., CIGWELD, ESAB and Migomag- as well as a full range of welding consumables.
Our main product groups include:

- Gas cutting equipment and repairs

The team
AMPS has six permanent staff, all based out of our site at Guildford.
We represent over 100 years’ worth of combined experience in welding and industrial supplies, foundry, sintering and metal spray powder technology, non-ferrous metal powders, and import/export systems.

Our offices/warehouse
AMPS own their own warehouse and offices located in Guildford in Sydney’s western suburbs- about five minutes drive south of Parramatta.
There are currently 95 pallet bays of storage, a retail/showroom space at floor level, and administration offices on the first floor.
Shipping containers are regularly unloaded at the site for distribution to the local Sydney market, all states and territories, as well as New Zealand and South-East Asia.Finding/Contacting us
